Cartier Women's Pink Santos Demoiselle Watch #25075Z5

This radiant dress watch from Cartier shines in gleaming stainless steel. The petite square case and bezel are crafted from polished steel and highlight an iridescent pink mother-of-pearl dial with two petite black steel hands and black Roman numerals all around. An antireflective sapphire crystal protects the dial, and an octagonal steel crown, tipped with a pink faceted spinel, accents the case. The watch presents on a beautiful polished steel brick link bracelet that fastens with a hidden butterfly clasp for a secure closure and a seamless look. An elegant and sophisticated accent for any occasion, this watch offers Cartier calibre 690 quartz movement and is rated water resistant to 30 meters.

About Cartier
The name Cartier is synonymous with luxury, quality, and style. Founded in Paris in 1847 by Louis-Francois Cartier, the company became renowned worldwide for its design and production of beautiful jewelry and opulent objets d'art. A royal commission in 1904 made Cartier a supplier to Europe's Crowned Heads of State and led England's King Edward VII to describe Louis Cartier, grandson of the founder, as the jeweler of Kings, the King among jewellers.

By the early 20th century, Cartier had expanded its collection to include watches. At a time when pocket watches were still considered de rigueur for the distinguished gentleman, Cartier helped popularize the wristwatch, making it a bold fashion statement for men and women as well as a status symbol among the well-to-do. Louis Cartier is credited with creating the first men's wristwatch, the Santos, in 1904. He developed and named the watch for his client and friend, the Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, who needed a device that would allow him to read the time without taking his hands off the controls of his airplane. Other classic designs followed, including Cartier's signature timepiece, the Tank, in 1917, and later Cartier's first water-resistant watch, the Pasha, created especially for the Pasha of Marrakesh.

Treasured by collectors, Cartier watches are distinguished by their impressive variety of shapes (round, square, oval, Tank, Tortue and Tonneau), by their exceptional materials and workmanship, and by their recognizable Cartier aesthetic, an elegant blend of classic and modern design.

Of course the watch is fabulous, after all it's a Cartier!
But what impressed me most was how great Amazon is. I ordered the watch on Saturday night, using standard delivery. On Monday night I got a call from UPS saying that a 2 day express delivery requiring signature was going to be made the next day. By Tuesday afternoon I had the watch on my arm! That's fast!
The Cartier Pink Santos Mademoiselle (small size) is drop dead gorgeous.
Really petite, I love it.
Make sure you like small watches though, and have a small wrist, otherwise get the mid-size one as this one will look really weird on anyone who doesn't have a petite wrist.
It's probably best to go to your local Cartier dealer and try it on first, to make sure the size is right, and that you prefer the mother of pearl face to the white one that is also available.
I picked the mother of pearl on the advice of my husband who told me to look on the net for the fake version of this model.
It seems (so far) there isn't any fake ones with the mother of pearl, so this way I know that no one will think it's a fake one.
