Hope And Glory was founded in 1989 by Jo Hopcraft and Marc Schneiderman. The two partners had previously worked together for 3 years at Parkes Clothing where they were in charge of the Casual Wear division. Johanna Hopcraft has a background in the fashion industry having studied fashion design at Southend College alongside such luminaries as Steven Linnard, Dave Ghan from Depeche Mode and Alison Moyet.
