PRINTS:(The secret of the beauty of Hawaiian shirts is in the prints)
DISCHARGE PRINT: The base colour is dyed whereas the patterns are extracted to leave the spot white or blank by the discharge chemical and simultaneously dyed in colours that apply to the pattern. (Simultaneously means in this case that to use the discharge chemical mixed with the pattern ink colors.) Depending on the mixture, it makes a great difference to the colours and the finish or appearance of the print pattern. Therefore, a skilled and experience hand is required.
OVER PRINT: This design is made by printing on fabric dyed into light colors. Compared to the discharge print, the edge of the pattern is not clear. The method is used in many of the Chiri men’s shirts with oriental prints.

PATTERNS AND DESIGNS: InHawaiian shirts, it is patterns and designs that play the important role. The following describes our pattern types.
HORIZONTAL PATTERN: here is a top and bottom to every pattern. The majority of the patterns are full scale Hawaiian scenes. Depending on the cut of the fabric, it appears to be a different pattern and is interesting.
BORDER PATTERN: Represented in a vertical striped continuous pattern. Although only one part of the overall pattern. emphasis is given to the vertical lines. A change in positioning of the vertical lines gives a distinct character to the shirts.
OVERALL PATTERN: A pattern common with all Hawaiian shirts. The continuation of the motif could be at an angle, at random or symmetrical.
PICTURE DESIGN: The picture design is not a photo transcription, but is printed in layers with films separated by colors from the photo. With more colors, the print becomes more realistic.
ORIENTAL DESIGN: Refers to the Japanese motif pattern. There are many patterns for the design such as the aforementioned Border and Overall. Most of the patterns are of dragons, tigers, hawks and characters of joy. This variety is in addition to the more typical tropical patterns
